Description

The Clinical Services Redesign (CSR) Project Team is delivering several established and upcoming projects across the Fiona Stanley Fremantle Hospital Group (FSFHG).

 

The purpose of the Consumer Advisory Group (CAG) is to ensure the voice of consumers and carers is embedded in the design and delivery of these projects. The CAG will:

  • Advocate for the needs, preferences, and experiences of consumers and carers in relation to CSR initiatives.
  • Provide feedback and insights to help shape project outcomes that improve patient experience, safety, and quality of care.
  • Support co-design principles by collaborating with project teams to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.

 

Carer Representative’s experience required

  • Lived experience as a carer for a person who has accessed health care services, particularly hospital-based care.
  • Ability to share insights from a carer’s perspective to inform service design and improvement.
  • Understanding of the challenges and needs faced by consumers and carers within the health system.
  • Willingness to participate in discussions and provide constructive feedback in a group setting.
Location of Meetings

Fremantle Hospital OR Online via MS TEAMS

Frequency

Every second month (meeting ~6 times per year). Current projects are ~12-18 months, however with likely expansion.

Time and Duration of Meetings

Planning remains in progress however likely Mondays between 10:30am and 3pm (note exact time to be determined and meetings will be 2-3 hours)
