Carers WA’s workshops provide quality training to professionals in the community services and health sector to better support carers and their families.
Service Provider Orientation
As the peak body recognised by both State and Federal governments, Carers WA represents carers interests in the Western Australian Community and part of our role is to work in active partnership with service providers and health professionals.
Our orientation sessions are held twice yearly at Carers WA head office (182 Lord Street, Perth). The sessions discuss the support and services that Carers WA provides to carers and how Carers WA can work in alliance with other service providers.
Alternatively, if your organisation has a number of new team members, Carers WA staff can travel to your workplace and conduct an in-house orientation session for a small fee*.
*Cancellation Policy: Cancellations received five days prior to the orientation session will receive a full refund. After that date, no refunds can be made. Cancellations must be made in writing or via email. Email info@carerswa.asn.au or fax (08) 9228 7488.
Customised Workshops
Carers WA’s customised workshops provide quality, tailored training to organisations in the community services and health sector.
Carers WA provide ‘In Service' Training for organisations wanting to enhance their employees knowledge of current carer issues.
These workshops will be specifically designed and tailored to meet the needs of the organisation, targeted to staff in a range of roles and adapted to cover specific conditions or topics as requested.
