NMHS Youth Mental Health Strategic Operations Committee (SOC)
The Strategic Operations Committee is a forum that recommends and oversees the development, implementation and evaluation of operational and strategic goals and plans relevant to YMH. The SOC is tasked with ensuring the unified approach to delivery of youth mental health care within North Metropolitan Health Service (NMHS) Mental Health, Public Health, and Dental Services (MHPHDS) and progressing the service system to deliver contemporary and innovative youth mental health services.
Carer experience desired:
Lived experience providing care to a young person aged 16-24 experiencing complex mental health issues. Carers (partners, parents, siblings, other relatives, significant others) of currently active clients of the NMHS Youth Mental Health Services (Youthlink, Youth Axis, Youth Hospital in the Home, Youth Community Assessment and Treatment Team) may not be selected due to complexities around confidentiality and conflict of interest.
