The purpose of the DAIP is to continually monitor, evaluate and develop services, facilities, initiatives and programmes within RkPG in order to meet the needs of people with disabilities and their representatives. This includes staff, volunteers, patients, families, carers and visitors as per the RkPG Disability Access and Inclusion plan (DAIP). The DAIP Committees role is to participate in the implementation of the DAIP in consultation with the SMHS Disability Advisory Network (DAN). The DAIP committee advises the RkPG Executive Committee on the implementation of the RkPG DAIP, in accordance with the Disability Services Act 1993.
Carer Representative’s experience required
Community representatives with direct experience and commitment to advocating for people living a disability is beneficial.
