The Australian Commission on Safety and Quality in Health Care is seeking feedback on the draft National Safety and Quality Health Service (NSQHS) Standards (Third Edition).
The Standards guide safety and quality in Australian hospitals and health services and include a stronger focus on person-centred care, cultural safety, coordinated care, digital health and continuous improvement.
Carers WA wants to hear from unpaid carers about whether the draft Standards reflect the issues that matter most to carers and what could be improved.
A NSQHS consultation document is also available here, which contains links to the third edition draft and other government consultation activities.
**Carers will be renumerated for their time ($37.50 per hour (2.5 hours attendance, 1 hour reading)).
