Safe & Found (S&F) is an initiative created by WA Police in partnership with the non for profit Australia Medic Alert. Designed to help protect vulnerable people who may be at risk of becoming lost or missing due to dementia, autism, cognitive impairment, or mental health challenges. By securely recording vital behavioural information and recent photographs, Safe & Found assists emergency services to respond more effectively and reunite loved ones with their families as quickly as possible. The program provides carers and family with added peace of mind and is a practical tool that supports safety, preparedness, and community wellbeing.
