The Inpatient Older Adult Mental Health Service (OAMHS) Advisory Committee (the Committee) is the management body responsible for leading and ensuring the delivery of high-quality care across the admitted OAMHSs (Selby Inpatients; Osborne Park Inpatients; Hospital in the Home; Consultation Liaison (SCGH & OPH); Specialist Dementia Care Program) .
The Committee is a forum that oversees the development, implementation and evaluation of operational goals and plans relevant to the OAMHS inpatient services.The Committee is responsible for ensuring the delivery of safe, quality and effective services. The Committee is responsible for enacting directions from the MHSDHS Specialties Leadership Committee.The Committee will ensure the monitoring and adherence to National Safety and Quality standards. The impact on patient, staff and organisational safety will be considered when making business decisions.
