This National Carers Week 11-17 October, Carers WA is inviting unpaid carers, families and community members to take a well-earned pause and join us for a series of Cuppa in the Park events across Perth. These relaxed, drop-in gatherings are designed to celebrate and recognise the incredible contribution unpaid carers make every day.
Carers Week is Australia’s annual celebration of carers, held each year in the third week of October. This year’s theme, Care for a Carer: Making Carers Visible, recognises the important role carers play in our communities and encourages greater awareness, appreciation and support for those who care for others.
Whether you’re caring for a loved one, know someone who is, or simply want to show your support, we would love to see you at one of our four locations.
Enjoy a free coffee, connect with the Carers WA team, spin the prize wheel for your chance to win great prizes, and take a moment to recharge in a welcoming outdoor setting. The events are designed to be accessible and informal, with no pressure and no obligation to stay for the full session.

A small pause can make a big difference
Carers often put the needs of others before their own. Cuppa in the Park is an opportunity to slow down, take a break, and be recognised for the important role unpaid carers play in our community.
These events are free, local and open to everyone.
