Regional Coordinator – Esperance

This role is based in Esperance, predominately outreach, and is responsible for providing access to information, capacity building, increasing networks of support and building resilience to empower carers in Esperance.

Young Carer Needs Assessment & Planning Officer

This role is primarily outreach-focused, and supports young carers aged 8-25 in WA, mainly in Perth Metro, with phone advice also provided to regional and remote areas.

Key tasks include conducting Youth Needs Assessments to evaluate the impact of their caring role, identifying service gaps, and reviewing existing supports. When needed, a Carer Star action plan is created based on the young carer’s needs to address their wellbeing and help them thrive at home, in education, work, and social settings.

Carer Wellness In The Home Support Officer

This role is responsible for providing holistic support for carers which is tailored to their individual needs. The purpose of the role is to connect with carers, initially in the home environment, with the objective of enhancing their health and wellbeing and thereby improving resilience. intervention can vary from emotional support, the provision of service information, training, and advocacy.

Team Leader Carer Gateway

The role is responsible for providing professional guidance and support to employees responsible for providing carer focused services. This position is also responsible for the coordination and administration of financial and business functions required to support the referral and the delivery of services to carers. The role manages a team of 12-16 employees to exceed carer expectations and create a collaborative, inclusive and innovative team environment.

Business Partnership and Fundraising Manager

The main responsibility of this role is to develop a robust fundraising strategy that includes a comprehensive approach for identifying potential donors and managing these relationships.

The role is across opportunities and grants/tenders which would expand Carers WA suite of services. This involves researching, identifying, and building relationships with potential donors.
