The Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital Emergency Department is seeking to partner with members of the public with recent experience of an emergency department.
SCGH ED would like to offer members of the community the opportunity to collaborate with medical, nursing and allied health staff in the emergency department, and to participate in the design and development of Emergency Department Quality Initiatives to increase inclusion and improve patient-centred care.
As a Carer Rep, you would be asked to attend the emergency department to understand the environment, provide carer feedback and be involved in designing specific quality improvement processes to improve the consumer/carer experience in ED. You would also serve in an advisory role on ad hoc QI/research projects or grant proposals as available.
