Sir Charles Gairdner Osborne Park Healthcare Group (SCGOPHG) Partnering with Consumers Committee
Partnering with Consumers (NS2) Committee, which is the body that provides leadership and governance for various ways in which SCGOPHCG partners with healthcare consumers and how the organisation supports staff in meaningfully partnering with consumers. The work of the committee falls into the following categories: governance (reporting, monitoring and improvement), healthcare rights and informed consent, sharing decisions and planning care, health literacy, partnering in organisational design, measurement, and evaluation.
Carer experience required: The Committee is seeking a representative with experience as a healthcare consumer in a large metropolitan health service. No specific expertise or background is required. However, carers with lived experience of being part of, or caring for, members of groups with differing or additional support needs (e.g. Culturally or Linguistically Diverse communities, chronic illness, disability, cognitive differences etc.) may be at an advantage given they may possess experience the committee currently lacks.
