The purpose of the Mental Health Crisis Centre (MHCC) Working Group is to design and recommend a comprehensive Model of Care for the new flagship 24/7 Mental Health Crisis Centre in Fremantle. This model will ensure safe, effective, person-centred, and recovery-oriented care for individuals experiencing mental health crises.
The MHCC Working Group will translate organisational priorities, national standards, and international best practice into innovative and practical processes of the MHCC Model of Care. This work will take place in pre-commissioning, go-live, post-commissioning, and sustainment phases.
The Carer rep will attend the fortnightly working group- participate in discussions, provide feedback on proposed policies, processes and components of the model of care. They will represent and be the advocate for the needs and interests of mental health carers for improvements in policy and model of care as a whole.

1.5hr meetings – 2pm to 3:30pm
