Social Support

Taking a regular break and having a supportive social network helps carers to continue providing the best care they can.

About Carers WA Social Support Groups

Carers WA Linking Together Social Support groups provide an opportunity to take a short break from your caring role to meet others in your local community. Groups are run monthly across WA.

Linking Together Social Support group attendance is free, however, you must be registered with Carers WA.

Championing a group in your area

Are you interested in championing a group in your area? You may be the perfect candidate for one of our volunteer Group Coordinator or Assistant Coordinator positions.

Helping facilitate a group can be a rewarding experience. You will be provided with all the training and tools you need as well as reimbursement for any out of pocket expenses.
