The Carers Advisory Council recognise that carers in regional Western Australia experience challenges accessing information, advice, services, and support.

Please join members of the Council, carers, government agencies, and service providers as we take part in a “Carers Conversation”. The purpose of this session is to provide a safe forum for carers, and the agencies supporting them, to express their concerns and identify local solutions on the unique issues that carers in the regions encounter.

This Session will be particularly special as the Council celebrates the 20th Anniversary of the Carers Recognition Act 2004.

Data and feedback obtained in this session will be provided to the Minister for Community Services, the Hon Sabine Winton MLA, and used to develop a further understanding of challenges faced by carers in regional WA.

A light lunch will be provided to attendees. Handasydes is an accessible venue.
