Event Details
Carers WA presents an interactive workshop for carers exploring some of the common challenges experienced when caring for a family member, friend or loved one. Compassion fatigue is a natural part of the caring role and can often result in feeling burnt out. One of the best preventatives for burn-out is having clear boundaries and being able to communicate them effectively.
Together, we will practice self-supporting behaviours and learn skills to create longevity and resilience within the caring role. This engaging workshop will include reflective tools and strategies for you to take home.
The workshop will be facilitated by Louisa Holmes.
