Carers WA presents a series of informative workshops for carers delving into some of the common challenges associated with caring for a family member, friend or loved one and exploring self-supporting behaviours and skills to help build longevity and resilience within the caring role.
This Grief and You workshop is externally facilitated by private practitioner, Louisa Holmes, a registered Counsellor, Psychotherapist and Clinical Supervisor, and co-attended by the Carers WA Counselling team. All of us experience loss in life, especially carers, and these losses can result in feelings of grief that are often difficult to hold and explore.
This workshop will help you to:
- Gain perspective on the losses you may have experienced in your caring role;
- Be prepared for the losses ahead;
- Understand grief and loss; and
- Explore the process of grieving, allowing it to be seen and experienced as a natural part of life.
Cost: Free to registered Carers WA carers. A complimentary light lunch will be provided at the conclusion of the workshop at 1.00 pm for all attendees.
To RSVP, visit the registration form.
Registrations are essential for all workshops.
