16oct5:00 pm5:45 pmCarers Week - Loneliness in the Caring Role Webinar

Event Details

Let’s talk about something that often feels taboo: the loneliness and social isolation that can come with being a carer.

Join us for an honest, insightful, and even funny conversation with Kate Mullolland, creator of Two Peas in a Pod and the Honestly, I’m Lonely podcast. Together, we’ll explore the impact of loneliness not just in the carer’s role but in life overall and discover ways to move through it, build new connections, and embrace life as it is today.

Through this session, Kate will help us unpack:

• The emotions tied to caring
• How to reconnect with your community and other carers
• Tips for rebuilding your old social circle as a carer
• Making new friends as an adult (it’s not as scary as it sounds!)
• Using technology, like WhatsApp and Facebook, to reduce loneliness and feel more connected
• Where to turn for support

This session is all about connection, growth, and finding joy in the little moments. Whether you’re feeling isolated or just curious, come along and be part of this meaningful discussion.
