Gain the confidence to understand mental health and support someone in need.

Carers WA would like to offer you the opportunity to attend a free online information session facilitated by Mental Illness Fellowship of Western Australia (MIFWA) that is designed to increase your awareness of mental health and mental illness.

The workshop will cover:

• Prevalence of mental illness

• Some common mental illnesses and the signs of a crisis

• Signs and symptoms

• Self-care handouts and discussion

• What makes a person less likely to help and active listening activities

• Debrief and questions

What to set up:

You will receive a link to the Zoom meeting the day of the event.
