Carers WA values the input of carers in establishing and addressing key issues for carers. Your opinions and feedback provide us with essential information to advocate on your behalf. We appreciate your time in completing our surveys.
Carers WA recognises that people from the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, intersex and queer (LGBTIQ) community may face additional difficulties in accessing support, and we wish to better support the LGBTIQ community. To do so, Carers WA needs to better understand the prevalence of individuals identifying as LGBTIQ in our membership, how supported and connected LGBTIQ carers feel currently, and how we can better support LGBTIQ carers. If you identify as LGBTIQ, your support in the 10-minute survey would help greatly with this.
To thank people for their contribution, we are giving one lucky winner a free three-night stay at the Anne Bluntish Retreat, a two-bedroom apartment in South Perth, with river and city views.
If you identify as LGBTIQ and are 18 years of age or older, please click on the following link: www.surveymonkey.com/r/6H6YYNL
The survey will be open between the 20th August and the 7th September 2018.
In late 2013, the Education & Training team at Carers WA created a survey to gather carer feedback about our free carer workshops and how we can make them more relevant to carers needs and issues. The survey has now closed. Click here to read the results of the survey.
