Carers WA can provide services and supports to carers from all cultures, language groups and backgrounds.
If you require an interpreter, please call the National Translating and Interpreting Service (TIS) on 131 450 and TIS will contact Carers WA whilst on the phone with you.
Carers WA can organise interpreters to be available during services we offer by phone or in person (e.g. counselling or education sessions)*.
*Whilst Carers WA and TIS make every effort to provide these services, they may be subject to availability.

Multicultural Carers Groups
Carers WA offers carers from Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CaLD) communities the opportunity to get together at a monthly Linking Together Carer Group in Kings Park or Mirrabooka. These groups provide a great opportunity to have a break from the caring role and meet other carers who share similar backgrounds. The groups also enable carers to gain and share information, link in with supports to assist them in their caring role and link in with other Carers WA services such as education and training and counselling.
Please call Carers WA Events Team on 1300 CARERS (1300 227 377) for further information.
