Carers Week is a national awareness raising week held annually in the third week of October.

During Carers Week, Carers WA along with a range of care-related organisations and support groups host a variety of events throughout the state. Carers Week 2019 will run from Sunday 13th October to Saturday 19th October.

Carers WA Events

Carer Wellbeing Day: Thursday 17th October

Carers WA are hosting a Carer Wellbeing Day on Thursday 17th October 2019 at Mount Lawley Golf Club.

The Carer Wellbeing Day will consist of psychoeducational and therapeutic workshops focusing on emotional, physical, mental and spiritual health as well as a variety of wellbeing activities, such as Silent Disco, Yoga, Meditation, and Tension Release Exercises. The event will also provide attendees with information about the services and supports available for carers.

Places are limited. Registrations are limited to 1 ticket per carer. All attendees must be over 18 and registered with Carers WA.

Scitech Family Evening: Saturday 12th October

Carers WA are launching Carers Week with an event that will cater to the whole family. Experience the world of science and technology, up close and interactive at our Scitech Family Evening. Catering and activities provided.

The Scitech Family Evening will be run as a lottery list event. Families will be selected at random prior to the event. Expressions of interest for this event will close Friday 20th September. There will be a maximum of 4 tickets per family.
