#ShareYouCare

Each year, Carers Week runs during the third week of October (11th– 17th October 2020) and provides the Australian community a chance to recognise the contribution and courage of carers. Over 2.65 million Australians provide help and support to a family member or friend, saving the Australian community more than $60 billion per year.

This October we encourage Western Australians to do one of two things!
  • Share that they support a family member or friend in an unpaid caring role.
  • Share that they care about the contribution unpaid family carers make to the community.

How to get involved

#ShareYouCare Sticker Project

The #ShareYouCare Sticker Project will see 20,000 stickers – designed by a series of established and emerging designers, and artists – distributed across over 100 community locations WA wide, specifically for young people in our community.

From school books, laptops and lunch boxes to mirrors, phones, car bumpers and wallets, we want to see these stickers stuck and shared state-wide; serving as a reminder of young carers in our community and that Carers WA are here to help.

Renowned Western Australian artist, Stormie Mills will be leading the charge as our feature artist in the #ShareYouCare Sticker project and we want you, to join him. Want to be one of our 3 additional artists to feature alongside Stormie? Download the Artist Pack and submit a design to #ShareYouCare to brody.macleod@carerswa.asn.au.

**Please note: by emailing your submission to Carers WA, you are acknowledging that you are consenting for your art to be shared to social media.**

#ShareYouCare Online

We’ll be releasing #ShareYouCare signs, Facebook frames and Instagram stickers you can use for Carers Week to show your support.

These will be released at the start of October. Check back here from Sunday, 4th October!
