Carers WA is delighted to once again support accessibility and inclusion by proudly sponsoring the Sensory Space at the Perth Royal Show.
The Perth Royal Show is one of Western Australia’s most loved community events, bringing together families and visitors from across the state to enjoy entertainment, agriculture, food, rides, and exhibitions. While the excitement of the Show is part of the experience, we recognise that busy crowds, loud noises, and constant activity can sometimes be overwhelming for people with sensory sensitivities.
The Sensory Space provides a calm, low-stimulation environment where visitors can take a break, relax, and regulate before returning to enjoy the Show. Designed to support individuals who may benefit from a quieter setting, the space helps ensure that everyone has the opportunity to participate in and enjoy this iconic event.
At Carers WA, we believe that creating inclusive and accessible environments is essential for building stronger communities. We are proud to partner with the Perth Royal Show in providing practical support for people with disability, their families, carers, and support persons.

The Sensory Space will be open throughout Show week:

Visitors are welcome to drop in whenever they need a moment away from the noise and activity, then return to the Show when they feel ready.

The Sensory Space is located near Gate 10, next to the Farm 2 Food Pavilion. Look for the headphones symbol on the Show map or app to find its location.
