PaRK Mental Health Service Families & Carers Strategic Planning Working Group
PaRK’s Families and Carers Strategic Planning Working Group meets bimonthly to discuss carer issues occurring across the service and the wider community. The working group includes representatives from the PaRK service with an interest in carers, and is also attended by representatives from Helping Minds and Carers WA. The group has a focus on information sharing, promoting the voice of carers in our service delivery and finding collaborative and innovative ways to address carer supports.
Carer experience required:
Currently a carer for someone experiencing mental illness or recent experience in a caring role supporting someone with mental illness.
Ideally living in the Peel, Rockingham or Kwinana areas.
A desire to promote the voice of carers in service delivery and to build strong partnerships with carer support organisations.
