Are you a carer who has had recent experience with the WA guardianship and administration system?

Carers WA is seeking feedback from carers and former carers to inform its policy submission in response to the review of the Guardianship and Administration Act 1990 (WA).

This review is being undertaken by the WA Law Reform Commission, and will include the review, provision of advice and recommendations for consideration by State Government on new legislation to enhance and update the Act. This review is called Project 114.

Carers can participate by completing a targeted carer survey here or by taking part in a carer consultation session on the review. These are developed and run by Carers WA.

Payment for the consultation session is $150 (this includes a three-hour consultation session, and 1 hour of pre-requisite reading, at $37.50 per hour).

Carers involved in the session must have lived experience with the guardianship and administration system and State Administrative Tribunal within the last five years.
