Young carers all around Australia have the opportunity to apply for the 2021 Young Carers Bursary Program which offers $3,000 towards continuing your study!
The Young Carer Bursary Program is an annual program that helps young carers with their caring role and education by providing financial assistance to help them. It helps young carers cover expenses that will assist them in achieving their study goals.
You are eligible if you are a young carer who is:
- aged 12 – 25 years old
- studying at high school level, or up to your first *undergraduate degree. *This includes advanced diplomas, bachelor degrees, bachelor degree with honours and associate degrees as equal undergraduate level qualifications
- an Australian citizen or permanent resident
- not receiving another scholarship
There are 1,000 bursaries available for young carers who are in caring roles and study.
Applications for 2021 will open from Tuesday, 28th July at 9.00am – Tuesday, 8th September 8.00am AEST.
