*This EOI has now closed*

Are you passionate about driving change and amplifying the voices of young carers in Western Australia? (Paid opportunity.)

Carers WA is looking for three young carers aged 16 to 25 to join our Youth Advisory Group (YAG) for a 12-month term, with the option to extend for another 12 months. This is your chance to make a real impact and help shape the future of youth engagement at Carers WA!

✨ Make Your Voice Heard – Have a say in programs, policies, and initiatives that directly affect young carers.
✨ Meet Movers & Shakers – Engage with Carers WA staff, advocacy groups, politicians, and other key stakeholders to drive meaningful change.

What’s the Commitment?
Monthly meetings on Tuesday evenings (4.00pm–6.00pm) at Carers WA, 182 Lord Street, Perth. This is a hybrid role with flexibility for in-person or online participation, and consideration for your busy life, including exams, cultural holidays, caring responsibilities, and location

Additional opportunities for small projects outside of meetings.

What’s in It for You?

🌟 Paid Role: Earn $30 per hour for meetings (2 hours) and work outside meetings.
🌟 Travel Expenses Covered: Reasonable travel costs reimbursed, including public transport or mileage.
🌟 Food Provided: Enjoy meals during in-person meetings (regional delivery available where possible).
